Joel’s Story
My name is Joel Myers, and I am the founder of Gifted Limbs. This organization was born from one of the most challenging times in my life – an accident that resulted in the loss of my limb. As an amputee, I faced fear, uncertainty, and grief, but through it all, my faith and my family carried me forward.
During that time, I realized there are so many others living with congenital limb differences or navigating life after amputation who may not have the same support system I was blessed with. No one should have to walk this journey alone.
At Gifted Limbs, our mission is rooted in faith, compassion, and community. We exist to empower, support, and connect individuals with limb differences, providing resources, mentorship, and hope. We want every person to know they have value, their life has purpose, and their story matters.
My hope is that Gifted Limbs will be a place of belonging, encouragement, and strength – where people find confidence to thrive and a community that feels like family.
Thank you for believing in this vision. Together, with faith as our foundation, we will build a community that uplifts, inspires, and reminds each other that we are never alone.
With gratitude and faith,
Joel Myers
